Just An Average Diary Entry
Hello everyone!! Back from that little break I took there. What was it, almost a week? Well my last one was pretty big anyways, so it evens out. I guess.
I was going to talk about something specific, but. Idk. It just wasn't the mood for tonight. I just feel like musing.
This blog has more or less replaced my physical diary for the time being. I do like my physical diary a lot, but it was always a bit of a hassle to write in it. Handwriting just takes sooo much more time. It does look pretty though, and I like having my physical book. So its got its pros and cons.
But I like writing here. There's something about putting this out there for everyone to see that just.... Idk it just really makes me smile. It motivates me. It intrigues me. The idea that someone random, anywhere around the globe, could see these thoughts at any time....
I'm sure that might sound scary to some. But I've always liked internet blogging. I like to go back to that old era, that era where blogs were the in thing. Instead of shitty Twitter threads and Reddit posts. I mourn for those days. I never got to experience that time. The time of forums and dedicated websites. I really wish I did. Its an era I adore, but will never get to experience myself.
Everyone and their grandma already talks about how shit the modern web is. So I won't bother here. But my melancholy longing for that era knows no bounds, as I'm sure it does for many of you as well.
I've done blogging before, believe it or not. I used to run a blog called "SSBlogs", that was dedicated to Smash Bros. It was quite popular and got a lot of views. I made I think, 30 entries of it? Its been quite a while. Unfortunately, the website those blogs were once posted on has gone defunct. But I should still have them saved on my computer somewhere. Maybe one day I'll upload them here.
But that was a blog entirely dedicated to a video game. This is a blog entirely dedicated to me.
So what did I do today, you might ask?
Nothing!
That's not entirely true. Just mostly true. I decided to really buckle down and work on DEGENERATIVE. I hate that I haven't posted an episode in almost a year! I don't want my series to die out like all the other webseries out there! (It probably will)
I did a lot of work on the Creepy Image Archive as well. As of the writing of this blog, its not available for the public to see. But it will be out soon hopefully, and I can't wait for when it is. I worked hard on it and did something a little experimental with it.
I also decided to get my Switch 1 up and running again. I want to exercise more, and I think going back to Ring Fit Adventure after all this time is a good idea. And since I have a spare Switch now, I'll just use it as a workout machine! Genius!
Well, I've run out of things to ramble about. So, see ya. (Yeah I know this blog was really lame. Just skip it if you want. Maybe I'll have something profound to say tomorrow.... NOT.)
